This week's Sci Fi Stud of the Week is:Will Smith "I'm human Viagra. I'm Willagra! . . . I'm raring to go every second of the day!"
The undeniably appealing Will Smith was born in West Philadelphia to a middle-class family. Always a good student, he earned a scholarship to MIT, which he turned down to pursue his music career. This gorgeous sci-fi legend got his acting start on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which began airing in 1990 and ran for six years. But his heart has always been in sci-fi - He says that when Star Wars came out, "I might have been eight or nine. That was the movie that put me into a space where the science fiction element was almost a spiritual connection for me. . . My entire career I've been trying to make people feel like Star Wars made me feel." He's had numerous big-time sci-fi movie roles, including Independence Day; I, Robot; Men in Black; and Wild Wild West. He's currently working on I Am Legend, in which he plays the last remaining human in a world full of vampires.
He's been named to People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list, and he's won numerous awards for his superb skills as an actor.
