David Greenwalt, co-creator of the WB's Angel and former Buffy writer, has been brought in to serve as the showrunner for CBS's new fall drama, Moonlight. The basic concept of the show is one we've seen before, but if vampire-turned-PI worked once it can surely do so again. He's overseeing some fine-tuning going on with the show, including casting changes (Leading lady Shannon Lucio is out, and other casting changes are still possible).  Alex O'Loughlin is the star of the show, and he fights both human and supernatural crime, with some help from his fellow... vampires (played by Amber Valletta and Rade Serbedzija). He's also romancing a mortal newswoman, previously cast as Shannon Lucio.
