Well if this just don't beat all, a 42-year-old man with a history of high blood pressure has died of a stroke while watching Avatar in 3D. Doctors believe that the stroke was likely triggered by over-excitement.

Sigourney Weaver hosted this weeks Saturday Night Live, which of course was full of references to Avatar. James Cameron even appeared on the show to pitch his latest movie idea to Lorne Michaels.

As we all know James Cameron revealed that an Avatar sequel will definitely happen and that he plans to base the films on the neighboring moons of Pandora and maybe even the planet that Pandora revolves around.

James Cameron is sitting on top of the World, with the writer-director's sci-fi hit Avatar reaching a global box office total of $1.02 billion over the weekend. Avatar has become the fifth film in history to reach the billion dollar mark, after Titanic ($1.8 billion), The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($1.12 billion) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest ($1.07 billion) and The Dark Knight ($1 billion).

Awhile back we reported that James Cameron had someone create an entirely new language for the 'Avatar' film. The new language was used in the movie by the Na'vi (the blue folks with the tails) on several occasions to say such things as "hey listen" and "you like baby."

Fox Movie Channel has released a ten minute video called "Making a Scene: Avatar," which covers just about everything that went into making a particular segment of the up coming sci-fi movie "Avatar."
