BattleshipWe recently reported that Peter Berg's 'Battleship' movie, which is based on the popular board game, would feature the US Navy fighting none other than aliens. A lot of people speculated that this was just a wild and ridiculous rumor at the time, well now  Berg has confirmed it. Dollhouse CancelledFinally 20th Century Fox TV has pulled it's head out of it's ass and announced that it has cancelled the Joss Whedon drama "Dollhouse," like we all didn't know that this was inevitable. Truth be told this show sucked in just about every aspect of a TV series. The writing was on the wall when the network pulled the show from its Friday slot during November sweeps, but the show was still scheduled to come back December 4th with Summer Glau joining the cast.

Star Trek Logo Several things have come out today from the Official Star Trek Site. First off we have a new theatrical banner featuring the main crew, consisting of Scotty, McCoy, Uhura, Kirk, Spock, Sulu and Chekov. You can check out this awesome banner by following the link below.

Also Paramount Pictures and the IMAX Corporation has announced that Star Trek, directed by J.J. Abrams ("Mission: Impossible III", "Lost" and "Alias”), will be simultaneously released to both IMAX and conventional theatres worldwide on May 8, 2009.

Tron Well it's about damn time we have gotten some info on "Tron 2." Production Weekly is reporting that the upcoming "Tron" sequel, which has been going by the name "Tr2n," has been renamed. The studio decided not to go with the obvious "Tron 2," to use the very famous brand name, but instead went with "TRZ."
