Today Paramount has released a newly enhanced Star Trek D-A-C arcade shooter on PC and the PlayStation Network, and to get you pumped up for it we have two trailers for the game that show some awesome details and insight.  OK, just when I think Sci-Fi movies are beginning to get back on track this latest rumor just took me back twenty steps. Let's get you up to speed before we torpedo your ass back to numbness and the abyss. Peter Berg has been pushing forward with his "Battleship" movie, which is based on the very popular board game. "Quantum Quest," which is a independently financed 3-D animated film being made in conjunction with none other than NASA, has assembled a great line up of Sci-Fi celebrities for the voices, which will include none other than the two folks to portray Captain Kirk on the big screen William Shatner and Chris Pine. There is also two who have portrayed Darth Vader, James Earl Jones and Hayden Christensen. These four Sci-Fi celebs will topline the voice cast of the $10 million pic.
Well it seems Paramount Pictures listened to the fans as they have just released a brand new internet trailer for the upcoming "Star Trek" film, featuring a first look at Leonard Nimoy as the older Spock. The trailer is very close to what we have already seen but in this one they included the Spock that we all know and love. Fans were upset and biting at the seams that the previous trailer excluded Nimoy. So far this trailer has only been seen on the Internet. 
The trailer for the upcoming "Star Trek" film has been playing in front of "Quantum of Solace" in theaters, which is why most fans have already seen a bootleg version online. After turning the theme park ride "Pirates of the Caribbean" into a blockbuster film trilogy, Disney is circling an entire segment of its theme park — Tomorrowland — as inspiration for a space movie that will star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
The Nostromo, a Weyland-Yutani commercial mining vessel, still 10 months from Earth, intercepts an alien signal from a nearby planet, Acheron, and the crew realize they are obligated to investigate under company policy ,or suffer fortiture of all shares. After landing on the planet, three crew members (Captain Dallas, Lambert and Kane), leave the ship to explore the area and find the source of the signal. Meanwhile the Nostromo's mainframe "Mother" deciphers the message to be a warning, not a distress call. However, it's too late to stop the away team as they have arrived at the source of the signal - a massive derelict alien spacecraft. Inside they find a sole alien corpse, thousands of years dead, and a cargo hold full of leathery egg-like structures. When Kane disturbs one of the eggs it opens and an organism attaches itself to Kane's face, immobilizing him.
