Well it seems another legacy of Stargate is coming to a end and though it's not directly associated with the Stargate Franchise it is a blow to many of the fans. GateCon will close the doors forever after the GateCon 2010 event in Vancouver, British Columbia after a awesome 10 year run the fan-run organization announced.

For "Stargate" fans who have yet to watch the franchise's straight-to-DVD releases, you'll get another chance to prove your love. Sci Fi Channel has acquired the U.S. television rights to "Stargate: The Ark of Truth" and "Stargate: Continuum," both of which previously have only been seen a DVD release. Both films will make their U.S. TV debuts in Spring 2009. |
