Seems to me that the movie suits and the Muvico Theater in Chicago, Illinois are acting crazier than a sprayed roach! A birthday celebration that was being thrown by Samantha Tumpach for her sitter at the Muvico Theater during a showing of the movie "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" could land the 22-year-old Tumpach in prison for three years.
Two weeks ago we posted a five-minute short called "Panic Attack" that was put together by a commercial director and FX specialist Fede Alvarez. The short video shows the Earth being ruthlessly attacked by giant robots that came out of the fog. The video is impressive to say the least and you can view it below.
Well now it looks like Sam Raimi (Spider-Man) was also impressed with Alvarez's "Panic" that he decided to sign him up to develop a new sci-fi film that will carry the tittle "There will be Robots." Alvarez confirmed this, adding that the movie will have a budget somewhere between $30 to $40 million.
Fox Movie Channel has released a ten minute video called "Making a Scene: Avatar," which covers just about everything that went into making a particular segment of the up coming sci-fi movie "Avatar." The "Watchmen" movie is currently in development and seems to be attracting a lot of attention by many of us so to cash in on the possible success of the film, Warner Bros Interactive is releasing a "Watchmen" video game as well, called "Watchmen: The End is Nigh." This action-brawler acts as the prequel to the story in the "Watchmen" graphic novels and movie. Taking place in an alternate history of the 1980s, the game stars the two masked vigilantes Rorschach and Nite Owl, and features a co-operative mode so that players can team up to beat down the bad guys.
