Fringe Gets a Full Season

Fringe Apparently this JJ Abrams fellow knows how to make a TV show that appeals to folks. Whether it's Alias and Lost on ABC and now Fringe on FOX – Abrams is continually putting out television series that just draw in the numbers and that he has become a force to be reckoned with. FOX agrees (after seeing the ratings) – and has given the new series a full season of 22 episodes. The show has some enormous numbers and seems to be settling in at around 10 million viewers...

"We're having a blast working on this show with this great team of producers and amazing cast," said FOX head Kevin Reilly. "The series has really taken off creatively, and it's exciting to see that the audience is responding. We believe this is the first full season of many years to come."

It should be noted that JJ Abrams movies have been based on TV properties and one (Cloverfield) didn't do so good at Theaters. The other (Star Trek) we are still waiting to see how it turns out.
