‘Smallville’ Star Coming to ‘Heroes’

"When Sylar meets his father, he’s going to see a path ahead of him that he doesn’t want to take," reveals an insider. "He has a lot more in common with his father than he realized."

Producer Bryan Fuller, who will be returning to the show explained that "Heroes" will now once again be character-driven. "It’s not necessarily a reboot as much as it is going back to the basic spirit of the show and pulling people back in," he explained. "We’re also going to tell fewer stories per episode. We’re going to limit it to three or four with one big one that you can wrap the stories around. We’re altering the structure of the show so that there’s a very clear A story that takes up a larger percentage of the show so that that story gets traction."

He also talked about what we can expect from the upcoming episodes. Fuller said: "People will die. And some will return. Matt’s wife [Janice] comes back. We’ll find out what happens when you have a superbaby."

But even with this news at this point I’m not sure the show can be salvaged and I don’t think any star can help get the ratings back, the fan base for the show has just lost all interest and are just tired of all the none followed through promises for the last two seasons. But we are glad to see Glover back in action and hopefully this time the son won’t kill him off.

Bryan Fuller Talks New Star Trek Series

After the demise of Enterprise, the franchise went on a bit of a break and a of a shake up. Now that JJ Abrams is revitalizing Star Trek with a new movie, that relaunches the franchise with new actors playing Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. Questions immediately arose about whether Paramount would sieze the opertunity to make a new Star Trek series.

Bryan Fuller, creator and executive producer of ABC’s hit series Pushing Daisies, as well as a former producer of Star Trek: Voyager, told MTV.com "I would love to do another Star Trek series." Fuller, who was also a writer and producer on Heroes during the first season, elaborated that the Star Trek he would create would be "One where you could go back to the spirit and color of the original Star Trek, because somehow, it got cold over the years. I love Next Generation,’ but it’s a little cooler and calmer than the ones from the ’60s, which were so dynamic and passionate."

Fuller went on to say "Star Trek’ has to recreate itself. Otherwise, all the characters start to feel the same. You always have a captain, a doctor, a security officer, and you have the same arguments based on those perspectives. It starts to feel too familiar. So all those paradigms where it takes place on a starship have to be shaken up."

“Flash Forward” from “Lost”

Based on Robert J. Sawyer’s sci-fi novel, "Flash Forward" is considered very compatible with "Lost." It chronicles the chaos that ensues after everyone in the world blacks out for 2 minutes, 17 seconds and has a mysterious vision of the future that changes lives forever.

Goyer most recently co-wrote the story for the megahit "The Dark Knight" and penned and directed the upcoming thriller "The Unborn." Braga worked on several "Star Trek" series, including "Enterprise," which he co-created, and also penned two "Star Trek" movies.
